By this I recommend the extension of the Sandwich scholarship for the October 2010/ September 2011 period awarded by the DAAD to Natalia Andrea ***, Ph.D.

I have known Miss *** for ten years, in the first place as a pupil and immediately after, as a teaching assistant and as a member of the research group I coordinate. Since then, she has shown great interest and outstanding talent for philosophical work, in addition to an excellent aptitude and disposition to participate in academic activities, such as lecturing, participating and organizing academic meetings, publishing research, editing Record books, etc. As a pupil first and on her research and publications later, she has always demonstrate great seriousness in the treatment of the bibliography (basic and secondary) striving, at the same time, to offer a creative and personal perspective of the researched subjects. On the other hand, the groundwork and logistics of her lectures have always been excellent. She has shown great capacity to explain the subjects clearly and to communicate with the students rigorously and pedagogically. Furthermore, she has always taken care of learning foreign languages, indispensable ability to carry out philosophical research issues.

Regarding the Ph.D. she is doing about “Philosophy of history and reflexive judgement in the work of I. Kant” which I direct, it should be noted that she has made a significant effort on reading the entire source texts during the first years of her Ph.D. simultaneously working with the Spanish translation and the original texts in German. Her reports express a constant improvement in precision and exactness of her interpretations on the subject matter.
I have supervised the bibliography investigation work that she has done at Koln University from October 2009 to march 2010. The possibility of acceding to the specific critical bibliography required for her Ph.D. that this first part of her stay has given to her has been and it is an invaluable help for granting the forcefulness of her work. It should be noted that even though some libraries from Argentina are well provided with general bibliography about philosophy of I. Kant, it is not the case for specific bibliography required by the present research about the philosophy of history and the third Critic of the philosopher.
The dedication, enthusiasm and accuracy that Miss *** has put in this period has allowed her to lucidly go forward in the resolution of the problems implied in the first section of her thesis, besides from letting her arrive to a further-work plan in order to conclude her realistic, though defiant, Ph.D. I understand that for the complete fulfilment of this plan it is highly recommendable the extension of her stay in Germany for the Oct. 2010/ Sep. 2011 period, this time at the Humboldt University, Berlin.

I consider that the possibility of her having a long-lasting research stay in Germany will have a highly fruitful impact in the quality of Miss Lerussi’s work in Argentina as an academic professor and researcher in the area of philosophy. The constant work, the outstanding intelligence and the good spirit of the applicant will take full advantage of it.

Mediante la presente recomiendo la prolongación de la beca Sandwich para el período octubre de 2010/septiembre de 2011 otorgada por la DAAD a la doctoranda ***.

Conozco a la Srita. *** desde hace diez años, en primer lugar en calidad de alumna e inmediatamente después como ayudante de cátedra y como miembro del grupo de investigación que coordino. Desde entonces, ha demostrado tener un gran interés y talento sobresaliente para el trabajo filosófico además de una excelente predisposición y aptitud para participar en actividades académicas, como las de dictar clases prácticas, participar y organizar encuentros académicos, publicar investigaciones, editar libros de Actas, etc. Como alumna primero y posteriormente en sus investigaciones y publicaciones ha mostrado siempre una gran seriedad en el tratamiento del material de estudio (bibliografía básica y secundaria) esforzándose, al mismo tiempo, por ofrecer una perspectiva creativa y personal sobre las temáticas investigadas. Por otro lado, la preparación y estrategia de sus clases prácticas han sido siempre excelentes. Ha demostrado una gran capacidad para explicar los temas con claridad y para comunicarse con los alumnos con rigurosidad y pedagogía. Por lo demás, se ha ocupado siempre en aprender lenguas extranjeras, habilidad que es imprescindible para realizar con soltura las tareas de investigación filosófica.

En relación al doctorado que realiza sobre “Filosofía de la historia y juicio reflexionante en la obra de I. Kant” y que dirijo, cabe señalar que ha puesto un gran empeño los primeros años de su doctorado en leer las fuentes en su integridad, trabajando simultáneamente con la traducción española y el texto original en alemán. Sus informes expresan un avance constante en precisión y agudeza en sus hipótesis de lectura de la temática.
He supervisado el trabajo de investigación de bibliografía y de escritura que ha realizado en la Universidad de Colonia entre octubre de 2009 y marzo de 2010. La posibilidad que le ha brindado esta primera parte de su estadía de acceder a la bibliografía crítica específica requerida para su doctorado ha sido y es una invalorable ayuda para garantizar la solidez de su trabajo. Puesto que, cabe señalar, aunque algunas bibliotecas de Argentina están bien provistas de bibliografía general sobre la filosofía de I. Kant, no es así el caso, para la bibliografía específica requerida por la presente investigación sobre la filosofía de la historia y la tercer Crítica del filósofo.
La dedicación, el entusiasmo y la agudeza que ha puesto la Srita. *** en este período le han permitido avanzar en la resolución de los problemas implicados en la primera sección de sus tesis con gran lucidez además de permitirle arribar a un plan de trabajo de las tareas pendientes para finalizar su doctorado realista aunque desafiante. Entiendo que para el cumplimiento pleno de dicho plan es altamente recomendable la prolongación de su estadía en Alemania por el período Oct. 2010/ Sep. 2011, esta vez, en la Universidad Humboldt de Berlin.

Considero que la posibilidad de realizar una estadía prolongada de investigación en Alemania tendrá un impacto altamente fructífero en la calidad del trabajo de la Srita. Lerussi en Argentina como docente universitaria y como investigadora en el área de filosofía. El trabajo constante, la inteligencia sobresaliente y el buen espíritu de la solicitante sabrán aprovecharla al máximo.
